Room for 'Shrooms

For this poster, I foraged in multiple different woods, identifying and tracking each mushroom/fungi along the way.

Growing up, my mother always recounted stories of my late grandfather and his hobby of mushroom foraging. In his honor, I decided to get into the practice myself. Mushrooms have always been such a fascinating organism to me, and I would like to believe that was somehow passed down to me from him.

The fungi displayed here are from the trails of Ridley Creek State Park, where I had the pleasure of joining the Philadelphia Mycology Club for their foraging event. It was quite an insightful event, with experts in the field available to talk/identify specimens found after the foraging concluded.
